A familiar place, renewed for everyone.

Rosemount is Ottawa’s last remaining Carnegie library. +VG’s rehabilitation and renovation brings fresh purpose to this much-loved Hintonburg branch, improving how its compact spaces support the community and library staff.

Consultation with Ottawa Public Library, the City and local community groups shaped the renewed program. A clearer layout, welcoming public spaces and thoughtful interventions bring contemporary library use into conversation with the building’s historic character.
