Ferncliff Residence

Connected rooms within a forest landscape.

Ferncliff Residence follows the site’s contours and wraps around an arrival courtyard. Its design recalls a series of cabins connected beneath a common roof.

Large windows, clerestories and continuous interior and exterior materials bring daylight into the shared living areas. The bedroom wing and screened porch maintain close connections to the lake and woods.
